I purchased this mixer thinking that wudnt be so bad if you're on chrome. But when I opened the package I was very disappointed. Its galvanized steel and the interior is all plastic. I tried to mix the bread with a little of the ship's smaller and the mixer started to slide on the counter. The top of the mixer when it is vibrated to break or cause an accident. This is a small amount of pasta, imagine what it would be if I use the larger ship with more than pasta. This is NOT knead the dough. I woudnt pay $ 80 for a mixier that coudnt knead. Have just returned.
If you mix a mixer light as flogging, cake mix, etc. can be good, but not to knead the dough.

I don’t think that GE reverse osmosis water systems are the right choice for anyone’s home. There are just too many problems with GE reverse osmosis filters and many other products provide better purification solutions.

The lower priced models are relatively new to the market and were introduced as a choice for homeowners that are on a public water-line. While it is true that tap-water contains too many impurities and drinking straight from the tap could be bad for your present or future health, RO is simply an unnecessary step.

I replaced 4 mixer in two years. Usually work three to six months and the engine dies. Mixer was used every 2-3 weeks, stirring mixtures of light. And 'bad luck?

The main thing that separates this mixer stand by some of the more expensive brands, is a bit 'easier, not taking power attached, and runs much quieter. It 'still strong and powerful enough to knead the dough or mashed potatoes without effort. It also works great for whipping meringues, cream or mixing cake. Unlocking the bowl from the bottom and lift slightly, while the mixer is running allows plastic coated beater to reach the bottom of the bowl, which eliminates the need to scrape.
