Modern dishwashers have all kinds of features today that allow you to customize your wash. Do you have bone china you want to machine wash? Put the machine on a gentle setting. Do you have a couple of huge pots caked with cooked-on food? Put it on a tougher setting.
And now, when you can have a solid dishwasher for anywhere from $200 to $1800, what reason do have for not buying a dishwasher? Some people say that space is at a premium. Well, with smaller units, and even portable units, your kitchen can afford to eek out some extra space.

I just thought about the whole gas / charcoal grill thing again.
Charcoal grills are probably still the most popular and have two basic types - the open style and the BBQ grill with lid, kettle-style grill. The open grill cooks the food by direct exposure to the coal. This is usually the method that I, as I think it's more participation, more fun and hands-on. Varying the height of the grill can slow cooking to a certain extent, but it is not very precise. The kettle-style grillhas a lid and cooks from direct heat or indirect heat when cooking a joint - or any food really. The heat is controlled by opening and closing of increased openings, the increase or decrease air flow, therefore, when cooking or lowering the temperature. The only question I is with this that I can not see what's going on … so I feel less involved. However, it is a good way to do a whole chicken or piece of meat.
